This military thriller, based on Jack Carr’s novel, The Terminal List, follows Navy SEAL James Reece (Chris Pratt) as he works to uncover a conspiracy after a failed mission leaves his entire platoon dead/ Pratt, along with co-stars Taylor Kitsch, and Constance Wu, deliver with incredibly intense performances, which I might even say is Pratt’s most dramatic performance I’ve witnessed.
Plus, the action choreography is top-tier, which probably has a lot to do with the fact that the series is directed by Antoine Fuqua, who directed Training Day and The Equalizer. With season two in development, now would be an excellent time to add this to your weekend watch list!
The Librarians
The Librarians follow a secret society tasked with protecting magical artifacts and defending the world from supernatural threats! This gem of a series is imaginative and fast-paced, as well as a great series for all ages! With stars Noah Wyle, Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, Lindy Booth, John Kim, and John Larroquette, you go along with the team to a new location with a new mystery as they face anything from cursed relics to time loops and fictional characters coming to life.
