Music festivals have become increasingly more and more popular over the years, and these days, there’s a music festival for everyone, no matter the genre or place. Music festivals are taking over. Here are some music festivals that we can look forward to this year.
Stagecoach
Taking place in Indio, California, from April 25 to 27, Stagecoach is one of the biggest country music festivals in the world. Some of the greatest country artists have played this festival. There are also local food vendors, as well as BBQ competitions. You could even learn how to line dance! This year’s lineup is packed with big names like Jelly Roll, Luke Combs, Shaboozey, and Zach Bryan. There are even a few artists scheduled to appear that don’t fit the country genre, like the Backstreet Boys, Lana Del Rey, and Nelly.
Electric Daisy Carnival
If electronic dance music is more your thing, then maybe consider attending the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, Nevada, from May 16 to 18. This festival is one of the most popular electronic dance music festivals. You can expect neon lights everywhere, dancing, and even carnival rides. This year’s lineup features some big names in EDM like Alesso, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, and Tïesto. If you’re looking for a fun party atmosphere, this festival sounds like it will be the one for you.
Boston Calling
Boston Calling is a music festival that takes place in Boston, Massachusetts, from May 23 to 25. Bonnaroo

Bonnaroo features a number of different music genres, ensuring that there’s something for everyone. Unlike most of these other festivals, Bonnaroo lasts for four days. This year’s lineup includes Luke Combs, Tyler, the Creator, Avril Lavigne, Olivia Rodrigo, and Vampire Weekend. On top of a stacked lineup, festival goers can also enjoy art installations and comedy shows.
Glastonbury
From June 25 to 29, the Glastonbury festival takes place in Pilton, Somerset, England. This festival is a whopping five days long and includes an insane lineup that covers any and all genres. This legendary festival is known for its diversity and its over-the-top lineup; there’s always so much to do. This year’s lineup is also pretty stacked, featuring big names like The 1975, Alanis Morissette, Doechii, Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahan, and Charli XCX. One of the best music festivals in the UK.
Boots and Hearts
Another huge country music festival, Boots and Hearts, takes place in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, Canada, from August 7 to 10. Fans are able to camp on-site and bond with other country music lovers. Any country music fan would love to attend this festival, and this year’s lineup hosts a number of big names in the country music industry as well as some new artists that are up and coming. This year, fans can expect to see The Band Perry, Sam Hunt, and Bailey Zimmerman, just to name a few.
Louder Than Life Festival
More of a rock fan than country? Look no further than the Louder Than Life festival. Louder Than Life takes place in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 18 – 21. Unlike these other music festivals, this one is geared more toward the rock fans, as it features bands from the rock, punk, hardcore, and metal scenes. This year’s lineup hosts a ton of bands for any fan of the rock genre. Fans can expect to see Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, Sleep Token, Evanescence, and All Time Low, just to name a few of the many bands.
When We Were Young
Last, and certainly not least, is the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 18 and 19. This music festival features all of our favorite bands from our emo kid years. The festival features artists that are pop punk to emo, and everything in between. This year’s lineup is expected to be huge yet again, as it features Blink-182, Weezer, Avril Lavigne, and local hometown heroes Panic! At The Disco. Slap on some skinny jeans and some heavy eyeliner to relive the glory days.
