The Traitors is returning for another season of debauchery and treachery, once again returning to the Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands — season 4 projects to be bigger and bolder than ever. While there is no release date announced just yet, the season is already in production, and likely will be released sometime in the early fall lineup. As has been the case for the previous two seasons, season 4 will again feature a cast of celebrities from a variety of other reality television franchises, including CBS’ Big Brother and Survivor, Peacock’s Love Island, ABC’s The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars, and Bravo’s Real Housewives and Top Chef.
The Cast Is Officially Released for The Traitors Season 4
Unfortunately, there is not a lot of information released yet about the upcoming season of The Traitors. What we do know is that there will also be a season 5 following it, and Peacock has officially revealed the Season 4 cast to us as well. For those unfamiliar with the show’s premise, a collection of celebrities get together to compete in challenges and attempt to earn money for their prize pot during the day. At night, though, everything. The Traitors, chosen by vibrant host Alan Cumming at the start of the season, must chose a player to “murder”.
Meanwhile, every other player, The Faithfuls, must work together to figure out who The Traitors are before the season ends. To do this, they must watch each player’s every move, and then come together at each episode’s roundtable, where they discuss, publicly, who they believe is a traitor. The cast then votes, and whoever receives the most votes is banished from the castle. By the end of the game, any traitors who are left in the game split the prize money amongst themselves, and the faithful earn nothing. If only the faithful remain, though, they will split all the money equally.
As Alan Cummings states in The Traitors season 4 teaser, “Ah dear me, what treachery awaits us this season? The fates whisper of betrayal, backstabbing, and the occasional dagger in the dark. Let us see whose murderous destinies are forever entwined in my castle walls. The cards never lie — people, on the other hand, constantly.”
So, who will be taking on the iconic game of deception in an attempt to win the money? Only one traitor from the US seasons has ever won, Survivor legend Cirie Fields. Will that trend change this season? And who will be chosen as The Traitors? Check out the cast list below and see who may be suited for the challenging and often villainous role.

Final Thoughts
The cast appears star-studded, but some names stick out among the rest. Dorinda Medley is the second player to return to The Traitors a second time. Rob Cesternino is one of the most influential reality television icons in the industry, having created the pop culture behemoth podcast and reality TV website, Rob Has a Podcast, and he has some extra incentive to do well after being snubbed from the Survivor 50 cast. Ian Terry, Monét X Change, Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho, and Natalie Anderson have all pulled out wins in their respective franchises. Add in some massive names from outside the reality world, and you have a heck of a cast.
It is hard to predict exactly who The Traitors will be, but if past history is any indication, expect at least one of two chosen from other reality competition shows. Rob Cesternino stands out, but may be too easy to predict. Natalie Anderson is known for cold and ruthless gameplay behind an energetic and positive persona, and would likely ask to be selected as a traitor. Tiffany Mitchell may be the best strategist on the entire cast. I would expect to see a housewife join the group as well, though which one is anyone’s guess. We will just have to tune in to Peacock in the fall to find out!
