Other examples of movies they featured have been “Scream”, “Psycho”, “Nightmare on Elm Street”, and that is just the first season of podcasts they aired. There are hundreds of episodes, and they dive very deep into each movie and explore what the movie is about. They also explored “Jaws”, The Shining” and many other horror movies. My favorite is “Halloween” Michael Myers! Who doesn’t know about Michael Myers? The characters in horror movies are limitless.
Scary movies are not always fictional stories, they are non-fictional stories as well. That Was Pretty Scary Horror Films Podcast talks about true horror stories as well. Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jon Brody talk about the stories behind the true stories. They share scenarios from different movies and their opinions about the movies. Some Podcasts, they talk about actors that were supposed to be cast for a certain role, why they were not cast, and why they were.Not only is it exciting to listen and learn about all of the different horror movies, at the same time you learn a lot if you are a major horror buff (which I am).

My final thoughts, I would give this Podcast a 5-star rating. The podcast is engaging, and they are real. They share their honest opinions about each horror film they review. If you love scary movies, this is the Podcast for you. The Podcasts are usually only about 45 minutes to an hour.
Around Halloween, I walk in the morning, in the dark and listen to this Podcast. I freaks me out a little bit but that is what I love about horror movies. You can actual learn quite a bit from horror movies believe it or not. Check out the best 200 horror movies of all time.
