St. Denis Medical season 2 lands on Netflix in the United States on Nov. 3, 2026, with all 18 episodes available to stream at once, according to What’s on Netflix. That gives fans of the NBC hospital mockumentary a full season to binge just one day after the show’s third season kicks off on NBC.
The timing is tight by design. Season 3 of St. Denis Medical premieres on NBC on Nov. 2, 2026, one day before season 2 drops in its entirety on Netflix. That overlap reflects how NBC has used Netflix throughout the show’s run, as a secondary window that boosts a series after it airs on the network and streams on Peacock.
St. Denis Medical Season 2: How It Got To Netflix
St. Denis Medical first aired on NBC and Peacock before season 1 also arrived on Netflix earlier in 2026, according to What’s on Netflix. That same pattern now applies to season 2, which carries a Netflix licensing deal that is currently exclusive to the United States.
The series follows doctors and nurses at an underfunded, overworked Oregon hospital in a mockumentary style. It comes from creators Justin Spitzer and Eric Ledgin, the duo behind Superstore.
Showrunner Ledgin has already started previewing season 3, which brings Damon Wayans in as Dr. Highland, a temporary replacement for David Alan Grier’s Dr. Ron while he recovers from heart surgery, Ledgin told TV Insider.
Ledgin also confirmed that Ariana Madix will return as Dr. Brooke Emerson starting in the season’s second episode, continuing her storyline with Josh Lawson’s Bruce. Madix recently starred in a sci-fi project covered in Future Housewives.
St. Denis Medical Season 2 Streaming Numbers
Season 1’s Netflix run gives a useful baseline for what season 2 might face. In the first half of 2026, season 1 generated 6.8 million viewing hours on Netflix, equating to about 1.1 million views. Despite that, the season never cracked Netflix US’s daily top 10, even though it spent more than 78 days in Peacock’s top 10 during the same stretch.
That gap suggests St. Denis Medical has built a steady audience on NBC and Peacock that hasn’t fully followed the show onto Netflix yet. Season 2’s same-day, full-season drop on Nov. 3 gives Netflix another chance to pull in viewers who missed it the first time around, right as the show returns to NBC with new episodes.
What’s Next For St. Denis Medical
With season 3 beginning on NBC on Nov. 2 and season 2 hitting Netflix the next day, fans now have two different ways to catch up or stay current with the show. NBC and Peacock remain the first stop for new episodes, while Netflix continues to serve as the later streaming window. No international Netflix date has been set, since the current licensing deal covers only the United States.
St. Denis Medical star Mekki Leeper is also branching out beyond the hospital halls. Prime Video has ordered his workplace comedy New Money to series, with Leeper writing, starring and co-showrunning alongside Joe Mande, according to Deadline. The half-hour comedy follows a trust-fund heir running a struggling Southern California venture capital firm, with Rob Mac also attached as an executive producer.
