The cultural powerhouse of Netflix, Squid Game, left viewers shocked by its intense display of the class divide. But there was one type of people that brought up some disturbing connections with tech billionaires, the masked VIPs. Their cold entertainment and the rich, luxurious environment could not help but make many fans think about Elon Musk. The novel seems to be a mirror of social inequality in real life, and the wealthy seem to be too near home. The comparison has been debated, memed, and seriously considered on digital platforms worldwide.
Squid Game’s Evil VIPs Resemble Elon Musk: A Chilling Comparison
The VIPs and Their Cold Unconcern
The VIPs of Squid Game are nameless, rich, and powerful people who bet on others dying. They laugh at people’s pain, drinking alcohol while their lives fall apart. Their behavior feels cold, robotic, and completely uncaring. It’s a shocking but clearly planned example of unlimited wealth and power.
Viewers compared these billionaires to real-life wealthy people who seem out of touch. Joking about moving to Mars while Earth faces serious problems is a common example. The VIPs in the show are a more extreme version of this type of person that people criticize.
Lavish Lifestyles in the Face of Ruin
Inside the VIP lounge, luxury is everywhere. Their wealth is shown through golden masks, silk robes, and servants that highlight their higher status. At the same time, the players are struggling with nothing, even dying for small scraps. The difference is harsh, intentional, and meant to stir emotion.
Many people see this as a picture of the huge gap between the rich and the poor in real life. Millions of individuals are going through climate disasters and living with very little, while billionaires enjoy a life of comfort.
Masks, Power, and the Lack of Responsibility
The VIPs are hiding behind fancy masks and dark rooms. They can say whatever they want and laugh at people’s pain, but no one can touch them. It’s about being hidden and having ultimate control, a theme that says a lot. They are so powerful, it seems like no justice can reach them, or anything bad will happen to them because of their actions.
This brings up uncomfortable questions about powerful people today. Musk and other famous figures often face criticism but rarely face real consequences. Many fans believe these tech leaders are acting in the shadows.
Conclusion:
The similarity may be intentional or not, but the outcome is obvious. The VIPs of Squid Game make the viewers question who is actually in control in the real world. Elon Musk, a representation of modern-day wealth, is a natural fit in this analogy. The lack of morals and the extreme lifestyle shown in the series feel strangely close to what we see in the news today. This mix of humor and social message keeps people talking.
