Daily Devotional For Tuesday Thoughts with Total Apex Media | December 9, 2025

It’s Tuesday, and time for your daily devotion. How blessed you are that God is your Redeemer. He has delivered you from the clutches of Satan, who’d hoped to keep you in his evil grip. And because you’re now free, you no longer have to worry about being desolate.

22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

In today’s daily devotion, praise God that Christ Jesus has redeemed your soul from desolation.

The Lord Your Redeemer

Jesus’s great love was on display on the cross, and now we’re redeemed by His blood.  In Job 19:25, Job prophesied of a Redeemer long before Christ: “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.”

Some don’t receive what God has for them. When Moses sent twelve spies into the land of promise, ten came back with a negative report. They saw giants who looked too formidable. But when God has promised you something, it’s yours, despite how things look. The blood of the Lamb has redeemed you. Sometimes, you may not feel redeemed, but redemption is yours through Christ.

The Soul of His Servants

He redeems the souls of His servants. Spiritually, your soul is saved because you’ve given your heart to Christ. The enemy still wages war on you, but you have God’s armor to resist him and stand strong. In the Old Testament, they were servants, but you are now a son.

You are an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. When Abraham was childless, he thought his heir would be his servant; however, God promised him an heir from his own body. Rejoice in your daily devotion that God always keeps his promises.

None of Them

This part of verse 22 should make you excited. When God says none, He means it. None who trusts in Him will be lost. Jesus said no one can pluck you from the Father’s hand. When Jesus’s hour came, He prayed in John 17:12, saying of all the Father gave Him, “none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.” In your daily devotion, praise God that you are part of the “none of them.”

That Trust in Him

In Proverbs 3:5, God says to trust in Him with all your heart. That means completely, no doubting or second-guessing. The ten spies failed to trust God, but two, Joshua and Caleb, did. And because they trusted God, they were the only two who entered the promised land. The other ten hindered the process and died in the wilderness. Those who trust in the Lord receive His promises. Thank God in your daily devotion that you trust in Him.

Shall Be Desolate

Desolate means to be without, empty, or barren. When you’re planted in the Lord, you’re in fertile, well-watered soil. There’s a song entitled “I’ve Got a River of Life Flowing Within Me.” The Holy Spirit is your River of Life, for Jesus said in John 7:38, He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” Say out loud in today’s daily devotion, “The life of God flows from me, and I will never be desolate!”

Conclusion

In Tuesday’s daily devotion, we’ve come to the end of our Psalm 34 series. The Lord’s words through David have been empowering. We end in praise to Jesus, our Redeemer. We trust and shall not be desolate, for we have a River of Life!
