Daily Devotion Monday Motivation with Total Apex Media | December 1, 2025

December 1st is here! And it’s time for your daily devotion. In our series, we’ve been tracking David’s journey through Psalm 34. David passionately calls on all who’ll hear him speak. He’s an advocate for those who desire to live right. He champions the cause of the righteous in verse 15.

15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

In today’s daily devotion, know that God sees you and hears your voice.

The Eyes of the Lord

Scripture has much to say about the eyes of the Lord. In 2 Chronicles 16:9, it says, “ For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth.” Thus, He empowers the faithful. Proverbs 15:3 declares God’s eyes are “in every place,” and 1 Peter 3:12 confirms they’re “over the righteous.”

So the point is clear. God is watching over you. It’s more than casual or intermittent. In Matthew 10:29-31, Jesus is speaking to the Twelve. He tells them your Father knows when a sparrow falls from the sky. In your daily devotion, know that there’s no comparison in value between you and many sparrows.

Upon the Righteous

God’s eyes are fixed upon you. In Psalm 32:8, God promises to guide you with His eye. David is the future king of Israel at this point, and he’s learned a few things about God’s eyes being upon the righteous. Having escaped the clutches of wild beasts, fearless foes, and a murderous king, David appreciates God’s protection. He is grateful that God is watching over him.

You can be certain that God is watching over you as well. God watches over you day and night. Scripture says He neither slumbers nor sleeps. Take comfort in the fact that God loves you so much that He is ever-present in your life, watching, hearing, and strengthening you. A life of purpose that He has ordained is His highest will for you. In today’s daily devotion, say that His eyes are upon you to help you fulfill your purpose.

His Ears are Open

Not only are God’s eyes upon you, but His ears are fully engaged as well. He is listening for your voice. God wants you to call out to Him. There’s no need to try to tough things out or handle them on your own when you have the omnipotent God with you.

In Psalm 18:6, David says he cried out to God in distress, and He heard his voice; he says, “my cry came before him, into his ears.” God wants you to trust in Him and call upon Him. In Monday’s daily devotion, realize your relationship with Him must be so close that calling Him is your first choice, not your last.

To Your Cry

In today’s daily devotion, God hears the cries of the righteous. He promises in Psalms 91:15 that He will listen when the righteous call His name: “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him.” And not only does God hear you, but He answers. On the human side, there’s nothing that can be done to control God’s answer. But because He promises to hear your cry, you know the God of Creation is well able to take care of you.

Final Word

Let this Monday’s daily devotion motivate you. You don’t have to be in distress to talk to God. He desires your fellowship, or communion. So talk to Him anytime about anything. He is faithful to hear you, not just in times of emergency. With confidence, declare this: “God’s eyes are upon me, and He listens to my cry.”
