Brett Pawlak, cinematographer for Spider-Man Brand New Day, shared some interesting images on his Pinterest account. There have been rumors that Mark Ruffalo will return as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the film, and Zendaya and Jacob Batalon have been confirmed to reprise their roles. Stranger Things star Sadie Sink was cast in the movie, though her role is undisclosed. Since Avengers: Doomsday was pushed back to December 2026, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will take place before the next Avengers team-up.
Spider-Man Brand New Day Images Show The Hulk
The pictures show stills from previous Spider-Man films by Brett Pawlak. The mood board shows Spider-Man teaming up with and fighting The Hulk. Rumors have alleged that the Green Goliath will serve as a villain, which could mean that Hulk will revert to his savage form. If that’s the case, it would align with other rumors that Marvel is planning a future World War Hulk-inspired project.
Fans were greeted with exciting news last week that Jon Bernthal would reprise his role as Frank Castle/The Punisher in the movie. He will also reprise his role in Daredevil: Born Again, as well as his own spin-off series. With that being said, it is looking very possible that The Punisher and the webcrawler will join forces to take on The Hulk. In addition, there were rumors that Zendaya would have a small role in the film, though that has not been confirmed or denied.
Spider-Man and The Hulk, duking it out, has been something comic book fans want to see on screen. Although not explicitly confirmed, this possible showdown between these two characters will surely draw a lot of excitement and hype. As of now, Mark Ruffalo isn’t officially cast in Spider-Man: Brand New Day on IMDB. Unlike its predecessors, the fourth Spider-Man film is inspired by a comic book arc and focuses on Peter Parker‘s quest to rebuild his life after the events of One More Day and Civil War.
During CinemaCon, director Dustin Daniel Cretton said, “I’m spending my time exploring the next stage of this amazing character with a team of the most incredible artists in the world. We’re all just daily, nerding out over the suit, how to swing, how to create an event, an emotional story, and a ride that we haven’t really seen before.”
Holland did not appear at the Sony presentation in Las Vegas, as he was filming The Odyssey. However, he sent a message through video saying, “I am so sorry I can’t be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie. I know we left you with a massive cliffhanger at the end of No Way Home, so Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That’s all I can say.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day was pushed back a week from its initial release of July 24, 2026, to July 31, 2026. This will be Tom Holland’s fourth solo film as the web-crawler. He made his debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War (2016).
