Kylie Kelce Shares How She Answers Her Older Kids’ Questions About Where Babies Come From

Kylie Kelce, the wife of former NFL star Jason Kelce, is sharing how she answered the question that all parents dread. Curious? The question is: where do babies come from? On the latest episode of her podcast “Not Gonna Lie” on Thursday, Jan. 29, Kelce shared parenting tips and words of wisdom that reflect love, helpful for every parent when it’s time for that awkward conversation.

Kylie Kelce Keeps Baby Talk Simple

A fan of Kelce’s podcast sent in the question asking what the most outrageous questions her kids ask. Kelce has four kids with her husband, and their oldest daughter, who is six, is asking the fun question, among others that cross a young child’s mind, especially, “Where do babies come from?”

In Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, she opened the conversation by saying she has been asked the question by both of her older children. And the podcast host responded that her favorite answer is,

“When two people love each other enough their love gets them a baby. I like that because it explains plenty of situations, including less traditional situations and we navigate those things when they come up,” she said.

She continued that it is her go-to answer for the question because, “I like the fact that it’s just people love each other, and people want babies, and then they get babies, and that’s how they get here—because of love. Done. I really do my best not to complicate things.”

Simple Parenting Advice Fans Love

Many fans praise Kelce’s answer because it is age-appropriate for her young daughters, who are 6 and under. Kelce’s answer is simple, shows compassion, and teaches her kids to respect others’ definitions of love, because not everyone grows up in a traditional household.

One YouTube user wrote under the podcast video, “love the all encompassing explanation of how babies get in your tummy! Fabulous job!”

Another fan wrote their take on explaining the birds and the bees to young kids, “lol I told my 4 kids you get babies in your belly because the mommy ate too much.”

Birds and Bees: Kelce Edition

Before answering the following question, Kelce joked about why her answer is age-appropriate. “We’re not gonna we’re not gonna unzip the f—ing projector screen and, like, ‘Here’s a diagram.'”

Kelce also explained that when her girls are older, the conversation will change and include more details. She said, “I will tell you, in terms of things that will later apply to this conversation, we refer to all of our body parts with the correct anatomical terms.”

To listen to the podcast segment on the latest episode, the conversation starts at 22 minutes and 53 seconds in the Birds and the Bees section.

Kelce Talks Swift Wedding

She is a Kelce with the gift of gab and may be the go-to person for finding out details about the upcoming wedding between her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, and pop superstar Taylor Swift.

In an interview this week with the Today Show, according to E!, when asked about the wedding date, Kelce was tight-lipped. She did mention that the family is excited to celebrate the couple and cannot wait for the big day.
