Hello again dear readers. Tonight, we have got some sad news. The name and reporter for (KT Los Angeles 5) known as Sam Rubin above me has passed away May 10th after calling in sick to the station. Before the morning news report, and thus having film critic Scott Mantz filling in. Before he passed away from a heart attack.
Which he was rushed to the hospital before being told that he was dead. Which, all of this had happened right before an afternoon broadcast. Along with KTLA making a statement on their social media, which expressed shock and heartbreak at the sudden loss. Including his fill in and several other people from the station who wanted to express their condolences to the Rubin family at this time.
Sam Rubin was born February 16th 1960, and died today from a sudden heart attack. He joined the broadcast station in 1991. He was a well loved entertainment reporter with many followers and fans and many friends. He was known for his warm personality and disarming interviews. He appeared on Television to report the news and to interview actress Jane Seymour on the day before his death had arrived.
According to the LA times. He also was a member of the “Broadcast Film Critics Assn., owned a self-named television production company and supported several nonprofits.”.
Sam Rubin Noted Broadcasts

Now. Some of the things Sam Rubin was noted for was reporting for the Oscars (or any other celebrity gathering) for the celebrities, along with generally doing the morning report. He was also noted for interviewing Tom Hanks, and appearing on the BBC as a regular for the news.
Or even reporting for the Emmys, and a numerous plethora of more interviews. Where he made things exciting and interesting to the viewer. Where he also was a bit popular for being a zealous follower with certain terms and popular culture abound, especially celebrity culture. He was there eager to report on what makes a celebrity tick, because we are all just so nosy about each other, so why not find out how these people got rich?
Or even making a slight memey reference to his Samuel L. Jackson interview where he mistook him as Laurence Fishburne instead of the other actor being interviewed, which he had of course apologized, but not before the internet took the mess up by storm. (At least it was on my corner of the internet, don’t know about you all, though I am pretty weird and passionate about human rights and all).
All in All
Now. Survivors in question include Sam Rubin’s wife Leslie, and their four children, which there are two from his first wife and two from Leslie. More updates to come once more information is released.
Sam Rubin will be missed.
I am out! Good day everyone.
