Despite some early hiccups in the overarching series of Crystal, largely due to the perception of its animation quality, Cosmos seems to have been received extremely well as a worthy and well-done conclusion to this reboot series. While the series is far from perfect, especially in regard to how the heroes outside the main heroine are rarely given a chance to shine on their own, one thing that should be praised about it is that it lets the villains be more than just evil people who drive the plot forward.
