Rupert Grint Makes Adorable Announcement
Rupert Grint, from the Harry Potter series, along with his long-time partner, Georgia Groome, best known for her role in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, have welcomed their second child together. He made the heartwarming announcement on Instagram, posting a picture of the newborn, showing off that the couple secretly welcomed another baby girl.
In the picture, Rupert Grint revealed the baby’s name, Goldie, as it showed her wearing a onesie with her name embroidered on the front. Alongside the photo, he wrote, “Secret Child Slightly Revealed’ Introducing Goldie G. Grint. ⭐️ A 10/10 baby (so far).” He also gave kudos to his wife’s OBGYN, tagging her in the photo and saying, “Shout out to @alex.digesu for always delivering 🫡”
According to E! News, before posting the picture, it was revealed that the baby was born as Rupert and Georgia were photographed out and about in London, carrying their newborn. Fans were shocked to see a second child, as neither of the actors had announced that they were expecting another baby.
Expanding Their Family
While Goldie is the couple’s second child, Rupert Grint and Georgia have a second daughter, named Wednesday G. Grint, who was born in 2020. They also kept Wednesday a bit of a secret at first, as they didn’t announce her birth until November, after she was a few months old. When he made the big announcement (also on Instagram), not only was it his first one, but it also broke a Guinness World Record. Rupert Grint became the fastest person to reach one million followers on Instagram in four hours and one minute.
Rupert Grint played a massive role in our childhood by portraying one of our favorite characters in the Harry Potter series. Now, seeing him have his own family is so heartwarming to see.
