Daily Devotion For Tuesday Thoughts with Total Apex Media | November 25, 2025

It’s time for Tuesday’s daily devotion. Throughout Psalm 34, David abounds in praise to God, who has saved him “out of all his troubles.” He delights in his Protector, trusting Him, knowing that his story is not isolated. God protects all His people. In verse 10, David makes a comparison between those who trust in God and their counterparts.

10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

In today’s daily devotion, rejoice that you seek the Lord and you trust Him for everything.

Young Lions Lack

Who are the young lions? They represent those who rely on the earth’s resources to supply their needs. When you are dependent on the world’s supply to satisfy you, you’ll lack. You’ll walk away unfulfilled and empty. In nature, young lions aren’t always fulfilled in their hunt for prey. It’s the way of the wild, the way of the world.

In Scripture, lions often represent power, protection, and boldness. The righteous are to be as bold as a lion. Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. The enemy is an imitator of God, so as a “roaring lion,” he comes after God’s people. Psalm 91:13 declares that “the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.” Spiritually, demons and evil spirits are beneath you, and you have authority over all the power of the enemy. In this daily devotion, say that you have no lack, and all evil power is under your feet.

They Suffer Hunger

Just as young lions are still hungry after unsuccessful hunts, those without God are unfulfilled in their pursuits. In Scripture, droughts and famines represent a lack of God’s word. Bethlehem, which means “house of bread,” experienced a famine in the days of Naomi. God’s fruitful land, now dry, is the result of Israel’s unfaithfulness and is a call to repentance. They lacked natural food, but they were spiritually destitute. In today’s daily devotion, exclaim that in God, you are spiritually fulfilled.

They Who Seek God

According to Scripture, those who seek God are wise in heart. They recognize God as their Protector and Supply. During the days of Judah’s famine, Elimelech, Naomi’s husband, made a fateful mistake. God had instructed His people to remain in the land of promise; however, sin breached their covenant. Instead of repentance and faithfulness to God, Elimelech chose to flee and find food in Moab, an idolatrous nation. His hunger caused him to seek fulfillment from the world rather than God.

In your daily devotion, determine not to put your trust in anything other than God’s word.

Shall Not Want

But those who seek the Lord don’t live in lack. Elimelech left Bethlehem in disobedience to God’s word in Deuteronomy 4:1, and he and his sons died in Moab. However, God brought Naomi back, along with Ruth, who became part of the lineage of Christ. God can transform a tragic situation into a blessing. In today’s daily devotion, continue to look to God as your great Supply.

Final Word

Tuesday’s daily devotion shows those who don’t trust God suffer hunger, but you don’t have to. God’s full supply is available to you. In the animal kingdom, a lion is considered the king of the jungle, and a young lion is in training to be one. However, all nature is dependent upon God’s abundant supply, and God is the Provider of all who seek Him.

Let this daily devotion remind you that God is your Provider. Psalm 145:16 states, “Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.”
