Ponyo is once again about to make a splash, not in theaters, but as an honored guest in a museum exhibit.
Ponyo The Movie
Ponyo is a 2D animated film from the wonderful artists of Studio Ghibli that was released to all audiences in 2008. Written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, the film tells the story of a fish by the name of Ponyo, an energetic and strong-willed sea princess. Rescued by a young boy named Sosuke, she falls in love with him and is determined to become human to pursue her love. With her wit and magic, she must evade her father and his sea creatures from transforming her back into a fish.
