Point blank kills get you up close and personal when it comes to eliminations. This just means you kill your enemies from extremely close range. These kills are common for challenges or camo unlocks, and have you sliding or rushing enemies to get right in their face, and Black Ops 7 is no different. Here are a few different tips for getting point blank kills in Black Ops 7, and what kinds of rewards you can obtain by doing them.

Sprint and Slide

This is one of the most common ways in which players can achieve point blank kills in any FPS shooter game. Sprinting and sliding towards your target makes you a lot more difficult to hit and can help you get really close to them a lot faster than just running or walking up to them. Sliding is important because it makes a much smaller target and makes you faster at hitting your opponent.

Equip the Right Perks

There are certain perks you can equip to make getting point blank kills much easier to accomplish. Some of these perks include:

  • Lightweight – Increased movement speed. Jump, slide, and dive further. Faster recovery from sliding and diving.
  • Ghost – Undetectable by enemy Scout Pulse and UAV when moving.
  • Ninja – Move more quietly.
  • Hunter’s Instinct – Killing an enemy marks the direction of the next closest enemy on your minimap.
  • Tac Sprinter – Enables Tactical Sprint but reduces your normal sprint speed.
  • Tracker – See rough locations of nearby enemies on your minimap and see their footsteps in the world.

Use Flashbangs

Flashbangs are a great way to blind and/or distract your target, making it super easy to get point blank kills. It’s even better when throwing flashbangs in congested areas, as you can stack your kills if you’re quick enough.

Play the Right Game Modes

Choosing the right game modes is also pretty crucial to getting those close-proximity kills. Game modes that are focused on completing objectives and longer-lasting matches are a great way to rack up those close kills. Players will be focused on getting to specific locations, which will stack up your targets on top of each other, granting you the opportunity to get those eliminations.

What Kinds of Rewards Do You Get For Point Blank Kills?

There are also certain rewards you can achieve the more point blank kills you get. Here are a few of them:

  • Weapon Camos: The more point blank kills you get, the more camos you can unlock for your weapons.
  • Experience Points (XP): Point-blank kill grants you XP, leveling up your rank and weapon level.
  • In-Game Medals: Point-blank kills grant you a “Point Blank” medal in the game, tracking your progress.
