Pat Sajak Gets 1 Last Epic Spin On The Wheel of Fortune

Tonight on June 7, 2024, Pat Sajak will have hosted his last episode of Wheel of Fortune. We’re honestly unsure of how we feel about it, but let’s start by saying puzzles are just the way to go: fuels our minds, gets our brain blood pumping with letters, how to string them all together to form words, and, of course…. Money prizes!

However, none of that matters nearly as much as the memories made on a show that survived seven presidents. None of that matters other than how this show brought immigrants over into learning the English language.

Best of all, none of that matters nearly as much as how a certain blonde made us smitten with her grace on stage in turning letters on a wall. So much so that when Pat Sajak himself would try his hand on doing her job one time, he jokingly confessed to being out of breath (honestly, he probably was).

Thank You, Pat Sajak, For An Astonishing 8,000 Episodes

You’re truly a god of mammoth proportions, Pat Sajak.

We knew this was coming, though. After all, Pat Sajak announced it a year ago: he was going to be retiring. The 41st season would be the last. We just didn’t expect it to get here so quickly!

His last episode had already been taped. In fact, it was done back in April. In that episode, he had delivered quite the emotional good-bye speech that no doubt made everyone tear up by the gallons. Especially that rather the well-known blonde that we referenced earlier.

It just so happens that this Friday, June 7th, 2024, it all goes down hours after writing these words. This Wheel of Fortune episode taped back in April will officially air. An entire world will be made privy to the fact that we’ll indeed lose a record breaker. Yes, the person who holds the mark for longest-running game show in history hosted by just one person, Pat Sajak.

That’s However, Not All: Vanna White Shares Her Thoughts

You guessed it: that certain blonde is Vanna White herself. She did have some choice words for Pat Sajak, and they were doozies. It was enough for her to get very emotional. We don’t blame her. The lifelong commitment indeed put her in a place where she loved Wheel of Fortune. This was a game that was meant to bring smiles, especially when troubled times from war to social issues were present.

For once, people just got together to spin a wheel. And hope that they won a new car while solving a puzzle. This included choosing a consonant or buying a vowel, but that’s beside the point. The joy couldn’t even be properly described for those who would have the privilege of playing this game. They watched Pat Sajak poke fun at things. Then, of course, you can watch White strut her stuff (with Pat’s very own daughter!) every time three S’s, H’s, or V’s would come across the board.

Truly epic, I say.

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Will Live On, Fans

The good news is the one and only Ryan Seacrest will be taking over (which, quite frankly, is an inspired choice, in my opinion!). Best of all, you’ll still see White on there for at least another year.

That, though, Pat Sajak, makes us kind of forget you’re going to be gone by tomorrow! All kidding aside, though, I will end with this request:

Pat, I’d love to solve the puzzle now.. Take care. We will miss you.
