2025 Oscar Nominees and Major Award Predictions

Nominees

Nominees for the 97th Academy Awards were announced today in Hollywood.”Emilia Pérez” broke a crowded pack of best movies on Thursday and earned 13 Oscar nominations. The Netflix musical crime thriller is up for best picture, best actress, and best supporting actress at the 97th Academy Awards on March 2 (airing live on ABC and streaming on Hulu at 7 p.m. ET/4 PT). “The Brutalist” and “Wicked” both scored 10 nominations.

The night’s biggest prize, best picture, features a stacked lineup including those three plus “Anora,” “A Complete Unknown,” “Conclave,” “Dune: Part Two,” “I’m Still Here,” “The Substance,” and “Nickel Boys.”

Conan O’Brien will host the ceremony. The Academy Awards show will air live coast-to-coast on Sunday, March 2, from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, starting at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET on ABC and Hulu.
