The 97th Academy Awards will honor artistic and technical excellence by handing out Oscars at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood tonight. Netflix’s musical thriller “Emilia Pérez” leads the pack with 13 nominations. Close behind were “The Brutalist” and “Wicked,” each receiving 10 nominations. Composer and producer Quincy Jones (Honorary Award), casting director Juliet Taylor (Honorary Award), producers (James Bond films) Barbara Broccoli, Michael G. Wilson (Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award), and Richard Curtis (Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award) all received their honorary awards at November’s 15th annual Governors Awards.
The show hosted by Conan O’Brien will air live coast-to-coast starting at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET on ABC and, for the first time, on Hulu.
