911’s Oliver Stark Knows Exactly Where He Wants to See Buck Go in Season 9

911 Buck

911 is an 8-season show that we all love. What do we love most about the show? The characters? The storyline? All of it? That’s up to you. Here, we’re focusing on the characters for now. The character focus today is on Evan “Buck” Buckley.

Buck is such a fundamental part of this show; it wouldn’t be the same without him at all. Now, we should get into his actor, Oliver Stark. Specifically, what Oliver has said about Buck and where he wants Buck to go in season 9, which starts filming this fall.

Oliver Stark has said that he wants Buck to take on the role Bobby Nash (Peter Krause) played when it comes to the other firefighters. More specifically, Oliver wants Buck to become a mentor to younger firefighters. There’s definitely more information about it in an article on GeekSided if you want to read more about it.

Now, why should Buck take on the role of mentoring for newer firefighters? Well, Oliver Stark said that he wants Buck to do justice to Bobby, since Bobby was such a parental figure not just to Buck, but to the entire A-shift crew on 911.

Who was Bobby to Buck?

This is for the people who haven’t watched 911. If you have watched it, you’ll have already seen what we mean when talking about this topic. However, if you haven’t, that’s perfectly okay; that’s what we’re here to discuss.

Bobby is basically a dad to Buck. Considering the Buckley parents absolutely suck at parenting, Buck really needed a good parental figure. In the first episode, you can see exactly how Bobby parents Buck; he’s firm but kind, giving Buck chances to prove himself while also being his boss.

Overall, if you watch 911, you will, without a doubt, see that Bobby Nash is the best parental figure in the entire firehouse for every single firefighter there. Now, go out there, watch the show, and enjoy summertime!
