New York Comic Con (NYCC 25) is shaping up to be a marquee event for Skybound fans, with tantalizing hints of fresh developments in their flagship franchises. With both the INVINCIBLE universe and Hasbro’s TRANSFORMERS lore under its umbrella, Skybound is promising that some major reveals are on the horizon. Fans are already buzzing as scheduling details and sneak peeks begin to emerge, and the stage is set for moments that could reshape both mythologies. Here’s what to expect from the INVINCIBLE and TRANSFORMERS fronts at NYCC 25.
INVINCIBLE: Season Surprises & Game Reveal
Skybound has dedicated a full panel to INVINCIBLE on Friday, October 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Javits Center’s Empire Stage, and the promise is bold. In an article on Comic Beats:
Join Emmy-Award winner Steven Yeun, Gillian Jacobs, co-creator, co-showrunner, executive producer Robert Kirkman, and members of the star-studded voice cast for exclusive conversation filled with Season 4 teases, behind-the-scenes insights, and surprises Invincible fans won’t want to miss. Has Invincible recovered from the fight with Conquest? Will things ever be the same with Eve? Will there be more Omni-Man in Season 4? Where is Season 5, William? All questions that may or may not be answered!
Beyond the panel, Skybound is opening up its gaming side. For the first time ever, Invincible VS, the upcoming 3v3 tag-fighting game set in the Invincible universe, will be playable by the public at a barcade takeover beginning Friday at 3:00 pm. This hands-on demo offers fans the opportunity to engage directly with the characters and mechanics—an interactive twist on a franchise that already thrives across media.
TRANSFORMERS & the Energon Universe: Big Reveals Incoming
Skybound is giving its Energon Universe — which ties together TRANSFORMERS, G.I. JOE, and Void Rivals — its own spotlight as well. On Saturday, October 11, from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. in Javits Room 406.1, attendees can attend a panel billed as the one to see courtesy of NYCC’s website:
The worlds of TRANSFORMERS, G.I. JOE, and Void Rivals change forever – and this is THE panel to get all the details! Join superstars Robert Kirkman, Joshua Williamson, Tom Reilly, Jorge Corona, Conor Hughes, and more for all-new Energon Universe revelations…and a special surprise giveaway for fans. Moderated bySkybound Executive Editor Ben Abernathy.

Final Thoughts on NYCC 25
This event may very well be the moment when Skybound reshapes how we see their two most ambitious franchises. Between the INVINCIBLE panel and playable game demo, and the TRANSFORMERS/Energon Universe revelations, fans should prepare for several headline-making moments. Keep your schedule open — you won’t want to miss a beat of it.
