Sadly, the world of acting has lost another legend, Lee Weaver. Lee Weaver passed away last month, on September 22, in Los Angeles, California, but the news was recently shared with the public. The “Quantum Leap” actor took his last breath at the age of 95. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ta-Tanisha, and their daughter Leis La-Te. His cause of death is currently unknown.

Legendary Lee Weaver: A Timeless Hollywood Icon

Lee Weaver was born in the 1930s in  Ft Lauderdale, Florida. He started his acting career after serving time in the army. Lee Weaver is another legendary actor from the golden years, with an acting resume spanning over 65 years and a consistent work record. He was one of the few actors left that has entertained generations of families from TV shows like “Touch by an Angel”, That’s So Raven”, and “Good Times” to name a few.

According to IMDb, the “NYPD Blue” actor has 146 acting credits, including two soundtracks. The “Grace and Frankie” actor’s first role was in 1955 for six episodes on the TV series “Sheena: Queen of the Jungle. Mr. Weaver’s final role was in 2022 in the video “Planters Deluxe Mixed Nuts: A Delicious Debate.”

Other memorable roles played by the “My Name is Earl” actor includes , “The Bill Cosby Show”, the TV movie, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, ” Hill Street Blues”, “G.I. Joe” TV series as a voice over, “Webster, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, O Brother, Where Art Thou?,  The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Vanishing Point, to name a few.
