Love is in the air for Megan Thee Stallion, as she has announced her new single “Lover Girl”. Set to be released on Friday, October 24, 2025, the song was revealed through an Instagram post. The announcement comes after recent breakup rumors. These rumors were dispelled when Megan posted a video of Thompson playing with her dogs and giving her kisses. She has also been seen supporting Thompson at his Dallas Mavericks games, including a courtside debut on October 15.
Fans have reacted enthusiastically, with many commenting on the “soft girl era” she appears to be embracing. The song, which samples Total’s 1996 hit single, “Kissin’ You”, represents a potential new chapter for Megan. Blending a smooth R&B vibe with her signature rap style, the song showcases a more introspective side of her artistry.
On its release date, the track is expected to be available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
