Cliff “Method Man” Smith is Frank ‘Brick’ Bricatino, owner and operator of The Brick House, a gym and fitness center. When Charlie (Natasha Lyonne) pulls a neck muscle while yawning and stretching, she finds her way to The Brick House, where Frank works a little chiropractic service. With a little convincing, Charlie and her new friend Alex (Patti Harrison) sign up!
That’s how they meet Rodney (Jason Ritter), who just wants to get some gains before his school reunion. Several of the other guys at the gym are making records and appearing on the leaderboard for the weight lifted. Poor Rodney can’t seem to keep up. He wants some of the “good stuff” that the other guys are getting. The trouble is, Rodney is a health inspector, and the “good stuff” isn’t what you’d expect to find in a place where men are bodybuilding.

In addition to Natasha Lyonne as Charlie Cale, Pattie Harrison appears again as Alex. She was a good Samaritan who gave Charlie a coffee in episode 9. Her character is quite interesting in that she never lies! Perfect friend for our heroine, Charlie.
As we mentioned, Cliff “Method Man” Smith is the proprietor of The Brick House, and he’s perfect as the health-conscious weight lifter who’s struggling to make his business successful. Natasha Leggero is his wife, Lily, who works in a birth center. She’s putting her job on the line for him, but we do crazy things for love sometimes. Jason Ritter (yep, his dad was John Ritter) is Rodney, the health inspector who wants to impress his former high school classmates.
So What Happens?
We’re not spoiling it! You’ll have to watch yourself. Episodes of Poker Face with Natasha Lyonne can be streamed on Peacock. New episodes are released on Thursdays.
