Tyler the Creator encourages us to put our phones down

We can all agree that both technology and social media have completely taken over the world. These are two of many reasons why excessive phone use has taken the place of both human interaction, and proper communication. Tyler knows this feeling all too well.  As a result, he decided to create a collection of dance-oriented tracks meant to encourage physical movement and a break from phone use. Don’t Tap the Glass also emphasizes the importance of experiencing the music in a live, immersive setting.

With its energetic and carefree vibe, the album was released on July 21, 2025, following a surprise announcement and a series of social media teasers. With its 10 songs specifically designed for dance and body movement, Don’t Tap the Glass includes collaborations with prolific producers Pharrell Williams and DAISY WORLD. With it’s upbeat lyrics and sound, this album is sure to delight current fans, as well as recruit new ones.

Tyler the Creator’s star continues to rise

First gaining recognition with his debut mixtape “Bastard” in 2009, Tyler then released his debut album, Goblin in 2011. The latter brought him his first taste of mainstream exposure. A man of many talents, Tyler has also made a significant impact in fashion through his streetwear brand, Golf Wang, and its sub-label, Golf le Fleur. Today, Tyler the Creator’s influence extends beyond music to fashion, film, and art, permanently solidifying him as a cultural icon.
