New mother of three Rihanna made her first appearance out since announcing the birth of her baby girl. The Barbadian singer was spotted riding alongside her boo, A$AP Rocky, in a black top-down Rolls-Royce in West Hollywood, California. A night on the town is what the parents needed to celebrate their new bundle of joy and celebrate A$AP Rocky’s 37th birthday.

Fashion Royalty Welcomes Rocki

On September 13th, Rihanna announced the birth of her daughter, Rocki Irish Mayes, and third child with her long-term partner, A$AP Rocky. The “Love on the Brain” singer was wearing a black leather jacket and black pants, accompanied by a matching pair of black glasses.

The “Wild For the Night” rapper opted for an office theme, wearing a tan trench coat with matching pants, a white shirt underneath, a black striped tie, gold earrings, and shades.

The “Fashion Killa” duo is always stylish, but what most X (formerly known as Twitter) users noticed was the love and happiness shared between each other as Rih Rih held on tight to her man as they made their exit.

Cracking the Code: Rih’s Next Era

Given birth to a new baby, it is probably safe to say there will not be a new Rihanna album this year. Even though the “Umbrella” singer’s fans are ecstatic that her personal life is soaring, they are asking where the music is.

The last album released was Anti in 2016. The CD feature includes hits like “Kiss It Better”, “Work”, and “Needed Me”, a classic album that can be played without skipping a track. In an interview earlier this year in February with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, she explained that the music will be worth the wait because,

“I think MUSIC is my FREEDOM. I just came to that REALIZATION. I just CRACKED the CODE on what I really WANT to do for my NEXT body of WORK.”

In August, Rihanna updated her X profile and banner, and X users thought it was a hint that the long-awaited wait was over for R9. One X user wrote. “IT BETTER NOT BE MAKEUP WE NEED THIS ALBUM.“ Another X user commented, “AFTER 9 YEARS!!! R9 finally coming.”

However, unfortunately, the profile changes were intended to draw attention to merchandise celebrating 20 years of “Pon De Replay“ music legacy and the release of her debut album, Music Under the Sun.

In 20 years, the “Diamond” singer has become one of the top-selling music artists of the 21st century. She has won nine Grammys, has seven diamond-certified songs, is a fashion icon, a business mogul, and has achieved billionaire status.

Busy Being Iconic: R9 on Hold

The world will have to wait until next year to see if R9 will be released. But why the people wait on R9 the “Lemonade” rapper is still working outside of spending time with her growing family.
