5 New Albums To Check Out On December 5, 2025
Tacos may rule Tuesdays, but Fridays are all about new albums. This week’s list of new releases features offerings from Olivia Rodrigo and Zac Brown Band, as well as the soundtrack to the recently released Bruce Springsteen biopic, “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere.” Whether you favor CDs, vinyl, or digital downloads, it is time to start making your shopping list. Here is a look at this week’s new music and five new albums that you definitely need to check out this Friday
Olivia Rodrigo — Live from Glastonbury: A BBC Recording (Geffen)

This Friday, Olivia Rodrigo will release her first live album, recorded live at the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts in March. Live from Glastonbury: A BBC Recording features 20 songs, including hits like “Deja Vu,” “Drivers License,” “Vampire,” and “Good 4 U.” The Cure’s Robert Smith joins Rodrigo and covers of his band’s “Friday I’m in Love” and “Just Like Heaven.” The album is available on vinyl (pictured), CD, and digital download.
Zac Brown Band — Love & Fear (Master of None)

Zac Brown Band will release their eighth studio album this week, entitled Love & Fear. The Grammy-winning country act’s new album will feature collaborations with Dolly Parton, Marcus King, and Snoop Dogg. The latter is featured on the album’s lead single, “Let It Run,” which debuted back in July. The band will promote the new album with an eight-show residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, spread out over December and January. The residency will kick off with a show on Friday to coincide with the album’s release.
Jeremy Allen White — Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Columbia)

In October, the Bruce Springsteen biopic “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” hit theaters across the United States. On Friday, the soundtrack from the film hits stores. The album features actor Jeremy Allen White singing Springsteen classics like “Born in the U.S.A.,” “I’m on Fire,” and “State Trooper.” It is uncanny how much White sounds like “The Boss.” Members of Greta Van Fleet also appear on the soundtrack as well.
Scorpions — Coming Home Live (Spinefarm/Vertigo/BMG)

German rockers the Scorpions are back with a new live album this Friday. Listen as Rudolph Schenker, Klaus Meine, and the band celebrate their 60th anniversary with a concert back home in Hanover, West Germany. The concert album features 19 songs, including hits like “Big City Nights,” Rock You Like a Hurricane,” ‘Still Loving You,” “Wind of Change,” and “No One Like You.”
Roddy Ricch — The Navy Album (Atlantic)

Roddy Ricch’s new effort, The Navy Album, has endured five delays, but the long-awaited third studio album seems poised to finally drop on Friday. The lead single for the record, “Survivor’s Remorse,” was released 18 months ago, with Kelly Clarkson getting a co-writer credit on the song. Late last, the second single, “Lonely Road,” surfaced, featuring Terrace Martin on Saxophone. Now it seems the rest of the album is finally going to see the light of day as well.
