Kaytranada Soulfully Delivers Groove-Filled New Album Ain’t No Damn Way

On the heels on his sucessful 2024 double album, Timeless, Haitian-Canadian producer, Kaytranada returns with his fourth studio album, Ain’t No Damn Way!

Kaytranada returns to his musical roots

Released on Friday, August 15, 2025,  the eclectic album marks a return to the Grammy winner’s dance music roots. The 21-track album also showcases Kaytranada’s signature blend of electronic, R&B, hip hop, and house music, incorporating samples from a multitude of artists including J Dilla, Tangerine Dream, Latrelle, and TLC.  Announced on social media on August 11, the lead single, “Space Invader,” was released at midnight on August 12, 2025.

The closing track, “Do It! (Again!),” prominently samples TLC’s “Let’s Do It Again,” from thier 1994 hit album, CrazySexyCoolKaytranada has described the album as being “strictly for workouts, dancing and studying and for my people that love beats”.

In a world sometimes plagued with sadness, it’s comforting to welcome an album designed to keep us on our toes. In recent years, the Grammy winner has embraced a more assertive role in the studio, aiming to create more Grammy-winning albums, and be remembered as one of the greats in music production.  The release of Ain’t No Damn Way coincides with a co-headlining North American tour with Justice, beginning on October 16 in Vancouver.  The tour will conclude on November 16 in Miami.

Kaytranada was destined for greatness 

Kaytranada first rose to prominence in 2010 under the alias Kaytradamus, releasing mixtapes and remixes. In 2012, he changed his moniker to Kaytranada, gaining wider recognition after his viral remix of Janet Jackson’s hit “If” in 2013. His debut album, 99.9%, was released in 2016, and featured collaborations with artists such as Vic Mensa, AlunaGeorge and Anderson.Paak.

Recieving critical acclaim, the album won the Polaris Music Prize in 2016, and Electronic Album of the Year at the 2017 Juno AwardsAin’t No Damn Way is available on multiple streaming platforms.
