Grammys: Which Artist Will Take Home The Win For Best Pop Solo Performance?

There are only two short days left until the 2026 Grammy Awards. As the Recording Academy puts the final touches on its plans for the night’s festivities and host Trevor Noah polishes up his opening monologue, it is time to take a look at this year’s nominees for Best Pop Solo Performance.

Canadian singer Justin Bieber grew his career Grammy nomination total to 27 with four more this year. “Daisies,” the lead single from his 2025 album Swag, landed in the Top 10 of a staggering 51 charts globally. It topped Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart in the U.S., and it peaked at #2 on the Hot 100. The track has been certified gold, platinum, or multiplatinum in seven countries.

Disney child actress turned pop phenom Sabrina Carpenter is nominated for six Grammys for the second straight year. Carpenter took home the award in this category last year for her breakout hit “Espresso.” This time around, it is “Manchild” that has her poised for a repeat. The lead single from her chart-topping album “Man’s Best Friend” hit #1 in nine countries, including the U.S. “Manchild” has already been certified platinum in six countries.

Lady Gaga – “Disease”

Already a winner of 14 Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga is nominated for seven more this time around. While “Disease” was not as successful commercially or on the charts as some of Gaga’s other singles from the 2025 album Mayhem, the performance Grammys are all about artistic quality and vocal performance. Critics raved about this song from the moment it was released, so don’t count it out come Sunday.

After toiling for several years, being dropped by her label in 2020, and moving back home to Missouri, a young Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, aka Chappell Roan, rebounded to receive her first six nominations in 2025, including all of the “Big Four” categories (Album, Song, and Record of the Year, plus Best New Artist). She ended up taking home Best New Artist, and she put on an unforgettable performance of “Pink Pony Club.” This year, Roan is nominated for “The Subway,” a single from her hotly anticipated upcoming second album. The song topped the UK Singles chart and peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. The song has been certified gold in five countries.
