Award-winning country superstar Kelsea Ballerini is nominated for a Grammy for her last album, Patterns, but she is not resting on her laurels. The 32-year-old singer releases her new six-song EP, Mount Pleasant, on Friday. The EP is a collection of songs she wrote during the summer that represent an introspective look at where the artist is at this stage in her life. The lead single, “I Sit in Parks,” was released on November 7.
FKA Twigs โ Eusexua Afterglow (Young)

While working on a deluxe edition of her Grammy-nominated third studio album, Eusexua, singer/producer/actor FKA Twigs ended up making a whole new album. The resulting standalone sequel, Eusexua Afterglow, is a sexually-charged look at the physical and emotional aftermath of club culture. The music blends hard beats and pop hooks to create a sultry sound. The album’s first two singles, “Cheap Hotel” and “Predictable Girl,” are out now.
Wale โ Everything Is a Lot (Def Jam)

Award-winning rapper Wale left Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group and signed with Def Jam Recordings in October of 2023. Everything Is a Lot is the first new album for the multi-platinum star since the move. The album falls in his normal DC hip-hop style, with live percussion and stacked cadences. The album is Wale’s response to an industry he no longer recognizes, and that he feels no longer recognizes him. It is his attempt to reclaim his legacy and move on from his past.
5 Seconds of Summer โ Everyoneโs A Star! (Republic Records)

Australian pop-rockers 5 Seconds of Summer return with their sixth studio album this Friday. The new album, their first on Republic Records, is a return to the band’s tongue-in-cheek tone that they were known for in their early years. The album focuses on satire and irony while exploring the themes of fame, identity, and the pressures that accompany stardom. The band has already released the album’s first three singles, “Not OK,” “Boyband,” and “Telephone Busy.”
Of Mice & Men โ Another Miracle (Century Media Records)

California metal band Of Mice & Men release their ninth studio album on Friday, and their first effort for Century Media Records. Another Miracle blends the band’s signature heavy sound, aggressive vocals, and melodic choruses with experimental and atmospheric elements to create a powerful and engaging record. The self-produced new album tackles themes of struggle, hope, and perseverance.
