5 New Albums To Check Out On January 30, 2026

Tacos may rule Tuesdays, but Fridays are all about new albums.ย Fans were supposed to see new releases from Kanye West and Lana Del Rey, but both keep facing delays, and it currently looks like neither one is going to be ready this week. Ye, as he appears to be going by now, has announced that he is moving back the release of his new album Bully to March 20. Del Rey’s last update was that she was shooting for late January, but she has still not confirmed an official date after changing the album’s title twice. (It is now going to be called Stove.)

What you will find this Friday, however, is new releases from DaBaby, Eric Bibb, Cast, and more. So, whether you favor CDs, vinyl, or digital downloads, it is time to start making your shopping list. Here is a look at this weekโ€™s new music and five new albums that you definitely need to check out this Friday.

DaBaby – Be More Grateful [South Coast Music/Interscope]

Eight-time Grammy nominee DaBaby is set to finally drop his much-hyped, much-delayed, and much-anticipated new album, Be More Grateful. He has already released several tracks, including the most recent, “Don’t Insult Me,” which features his 15-year-old daughter. Fittingly, the album touches on topics like family, growth, and emotional family, but don’t worry, he still spits plenty of raw, ruthless bars on this one.

Eric Bibb – One Mississippi [Repute Records]

Blues icon Eric Bibb returns with his latest album this Friday. In a recent interview with the site, Bibb described One Mississippi as โ€œa call for peace, justice, and unity in a divided world.โ€ The three-time Grammy nominee worked once again with producer Glen Scott to create a record that is a seamless blend of heart, soul, and blues craftsmanship. UK-based guitarist Robbie McIntosh, who has worked with artists like Paul McCartney and John Mayer, lends his talents to the record, backing Bibb’s signature storytelling.

Cast – Yeah Yeah Yeah [Scruff of the Neck]

Britpop stalwarts Cast return with their eighth studio album this Friday. Recorded right after their worldwide tour with a reunited Oasis, the band’s new album, Yeah Yeah Yeah, feels like they traveled back in time with all the knowledge that they had learned over thirty-plus years and taught the younger version of themselves a few new tricks. The band seems rejuvenated. The album has that old school Cast feel with new school vibes and upgrades. They have added in strings and a little brass in places to give songs some nice finishing touches. If you liked Cast before, odds are you are going to love them now. Check out “Poison Vine,” and you will be hooked.

Joyce Manor –ย I Used to Go to This Bar [Epitaph]

California punk rockers Joyce Manor drop their seventh studio album this week. The new album was produced byย Bad Religion’s Brett Gurewitz and features a smattering of rockabilly accents blended into their signature punk sound. The lead single, “All My Friends Are So Depressed,” was released last August and cracked the Top 20 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart.

A.G. Cook – The Moment (The Score) [A24 Music]

English producer, composer, and hyperpop artist A.G. Cook will follow up his 2024 album Britpop with the soundtrack album to the Aidan Zamiri mockumentary “The Moment.” Both the film and the soundtrack will debut on Friday. While the film score is instrumental electronic dance music, it does feature collab singles that feature Charli XCX and Kylie Jenner, and also samples Icona Pop’s 2012 smash “I Love It.”
