With award show season ramping up to finish 2024, the various events and shows can range from small private affairs to televised extravaganzas celebrating all things entertainment. Often paired with unforgettable performances, controversial decisions that spark wild debate, and memorable moments you won’t soon forget, it’s no wonder why so many look forward to this time of year. But with so many events to choose from, it can sometimes be difficult to keep track of who, what, when, and where.
Award shows can vary depending on the area of expertise. They can celebrate everything from major movies, TV shows, and music to theater and the performing arts. Some ceremonies solely focus on celebrating accomplishments in the more technical and artistic side of entertainment, like sound editing, cinematography, and visual effects. While others choose to celebrate the broader aspects of the entertainment industry, such as its reach, impact, diversity, inclusivity, and their good works in society.
