And then, just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse – they sent an assassin after him.
So now I bet you’re thinking what could happen next right? Well, the plot thickens as we see Chris Evans playing Lloyd Hansen, basically one crazy fellow if you ask me, trying every trick in his book to corner Ryan Gosling’s character called Sierra Six.

4. Road House
In Doug Liman’s 2024 reimagination of the classic action movie from 1989, the main protagonist will be portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal. The one with Patrick Swayze? Yeah, you got it!
Now, in this 2024 version, Gyllenhaal plays Dalton—a former UFC fighter who’s now a bar bouncer. He keeps things running smoothly at the famous Double Deuce roadhouse (you know that wild place in Florida?) by not being afraid to tackle any troublemakers directly.
3. The Beekeeper
In the nail-biting action movie from 2024, Jason Statham gets into the shoes of Adam Clay – a seriously skilled hitman with a sketchy history that has something to do with an agent known as “Beekeeper”. But then, something happens that changes everything.
His landlord, quite the softie, sadly falls for an email scam and decides they can’t face it anymore – ending their own life. Seeing this happen right in front of him turns on a switch inside Clay. It’s like he forgets everything else. All he wants now is justice for his sweet old landlord who didn’t deserve any of this. In other words – he’s out for revenge!
2. Dune: Part Two
Alright, everyone! Get ready because it’s time for part two of Frank Herbert’s 1965 crazy popular book turned into an action movie. We’re talking big names here – Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, and more are all back again.
So where were we? Oh right, the last movie ended with a bang but left us hanging too. Our lead guy Paul Atreides (that’s Chalamet) is out to settle some serious scores after his family got messed up badly in Dune (2021). Let’s just say things are heating up for sure!

Back in 2000, there was this major hit action movie that told a great tale about getting even and falling in love at the same time.
