Wednesday Season 3: 5 Unanswered Questions That Need to Be Addressed

The second season of Wednesday is done and dusted. Now the interminable wait for season 3 begins. As with the ending of season 1, season 2 has left us with several questions about what’s to come. Hopefully, they, and many others, will all be addressed in season 3.

Wednesday Season 3: Will Enid Return to Human Form?

The most pressing question for all fans, and clearly the one that will be addressed fairly quickly, is what will happen with Enid. It is highly unlikely that she will be killed or be stuck in wolf form forever (especially considering how much advertising has gone into promoting her and Wednesday’s relationship), so the question is, how will she revert to her human form?

Will her friend find some magic cure, or will it just be an act of willpower on Enid’s part? In either event, I fully expect her situation to be resolved within the first 2 episodes.

 Tyler’s Arc Nears Its Conclusion

There are many in the fandom who are tired, for whatever reason, of the ongoing drama between Tyler and Wednesday. Which is fair enough. At this point, his story arc is mostly played out. He tried to get revenge and ended up losing everything. This is a time for self-reflection and healing.

Assuming Ms. Capri doesn’t have sinister motives, Tyler’s story can be wrapped up fairly quickly. All we need is a few scenes of him settling into the Hyde community, and we can turn the page on that chapter. And then, later down the line, after we’ve explored different storylines and characters, he can come back to show his progress.

What Happened to Pugsley’s Powers?

I’m annoyed they didn’t address this before the season ended but, does Pugsley still have his powers? He was strapped to Isaac’s device, but she was unhooked from it before Wednesday destroyed it. We weren’t given a clear explanation of whether it was the device itself or Morticia destroying while he was still strapped in that cost Gomez his power. I’d like an answer to this, please and thank you.

Ophelia’s Premonition About Wednesday

Clearly, the biggest mystery for season 3 is why Ophelia wrote that “WEDNESDAY MUST DIE”. What did she see? What will Wednesday supposedly do? And what will happen if Wednesday doesn’t die? So many questions. Makes one impatient for season 3. Also makes one long for more than 8 episodes.

Other Members of the Addams Family

The final mystery of the Wednesday universe is one that has been present since season 1. When are we going to see more members of the Addams clan? We got Grandmama in season 2, which was nice, but where is Cousin It? What about the myriad of other Addams family members that function as background characters in all the other shows, films, and cartoons? Will we get to meet some of them? And, perhaps most importantly of all, will Pubert be included? Hopefully, season 3 will expand the universe and give us more.
