‘Wherever This Blood Leads’ Exhilarating New Teaser Trailer For Stranger Things Final Season And Holiday Release!
Steve Harrington is in a tank. He has a bunch of radio equipment around him, and as he turns the wheel above his head, he also flicks the dial to amp up the wattage of his transmission. The numbers tick over, and the ’80s electro track that everyone in the world has come to associate with one of the coolest shows of all time begins. This is the start of the brand new trailer for the Stranger Things final season.
This is the beginning of the end, and with the footage showcased in the trailer alone, it looks like it’s going to be something unforgettable.
Scheduled for November 2025
The release window is one of the first things we see in the Stranger Things final season trailer before the music really starts to swell into the ’80s electro-rock march that sets the tone for what is sure to be a truly epic battle. The whole cast is shown waiting with baited breath for the ‘burn’ as those numbers in Steve’s truck tick ever closer to an inevitable 100.
Only 3 Months Away!

The November drop of the Stranger Things final season has been in the rumor mill for a while now, but there has also been speculation that the show was further delayed and would see a 2026 release. With summer rolling in and still no whiff of an update, fans were starting to, rather gloomily, believe that the 2026 delay was real.
Cue 16th July 2025, almost exactly 9 years since the release of the first season, and excitement hits fever pitch as Netflix releases a Code Red for the trailer reveal, which confirms that part 1 of the Stranger Things final season will be here on 1st November 2025! We’ve already been waiting for three full years; what is three more months to that? Nothing! That’s what! It’s finally here!
A Two-Part Christmas Present
Episodes 1-4 are due to release to make up part 1 in November, then the rest of the season, episodes 5-8, are due to air over Christmas, with the finale concluding on New Year’s. It’s the perfect way to end the year and keep audiences talking about the franchise as it comes to its inevitable close, with the Duffer Brothers explaining that there is going to be quite a lot of shocking lore drops about the Upside Down in the Stranger Things final season.
Let’s End This, Kid
With Season 4 leaving Hawkins at the mercy of a post-apocalyptic fusion moment, it’s hard to imagine the battlefield that our main cast will make their final stand upon. Will it be the ashy wasteland of the true Upside Down? The clock-strewn red terror of Vecna’s domain? Or the playing field at the back of Hawkins High, where we saw the Mind Flayer looming over the school dance at the end of Season 2? The trailer doesn’t give too much away in that respect, though it does show the demogorgon, or a demodog, chasing someone up a dead tree only to miss their feet by inches as they leap through the air.
Tying Up Loose Ends
There are so many questions still left to be answered, and none are more prominent than: What is Will’s real connection to the Upside Down? And what will become of Max? Both characters are much beloved on the show, with Will being the kind introvert with a stellar imagination, and Max being a ballsy young woman with a chip on her shoulder.
In Season 2, Will was possessed by the Mind Flayer, connected for several days, and used by the creature as a sleeper agent of sorts. In Season 4, it was confirmed that the date of Will’s original abduction is special for the Upside Down, going so far as to potentially be an origin date for the dimension itself, according to fan theories. The question of why this matters to Will has fans of the show feral and has for the last three years, with artwork of Will becoming the villain circulating the internet with alarming speed.
As for Max? Sadie Sink, who plays the titular character, has confirmed that she has been busy on production for the last season, which means that her character hasn’t just been nerfed into a completely vegetative state after all. Fans want to know exactly where Max’s mind has gone and how that will relate to the coming clash between El and the rest of the Hawkins crew as Vecna finally makes his move.
El Vs. Vecna Round 3
After the near defeat of El at Vecna’s hands following her impressive training montage in Season 4, seeing how the Duffer Brothers elevate this character to new heights to deal with this antagonist now that he’s already experienced his first win is going to be spectacular. The trailer does hint that El’s powers are back in full swing, and considering she started off being powerful enough to send Vecna to the blank canvas of the Upside Down before it properly formed into a dark mirror of Hawkins, it’s obvious that this is El’s enemy, despite how the others are involved.
Who do you think will win this final clash? How excited are you to find out the answers as 1st November 2025 draws ever closer and the first episode of the Stranger Things final season hits our screens?
