Now, however, Prime Video promises to deliver a deeper, more serialized look at Cross’s life. In other words, the show is likely to add layers to his character that can only be explored over a multi-episode series. In fact, Jeanine Mason, Matthew Lillard, and Wes Chatham are all confirmed to join the series in its sophomore season. Given that there are more than 30 Alex Cross novels available, we’re guessing the showrunners are in no danger of running out of material anytime soon.
