And Just Like That, Season 3 Episode 10: Cheerful Moving on! Aiden Who?
Itโs hard to talk about And Just Like That, Season 3 Episode 10 without starting with one word (or name): Steve. Thatโs right, buckle up because David Eigenbergโs endearing, raspy, New York-infused shout of โHeeeyyy, MIRAANDA!โ is back, providing comfort and chaos in equal doses. But Steveโs reappearance isnโt just nostalgic fan service. His storyline represents the rare emotional core this scattered season has been leaning on like a crutch, and in Episode 10, it finally clicks with some deliciously messy payoff.
This episode, titled Better Than Sex, packs more drama than a ten-course tasting menuโand weโre eating it up. From Carrie leveraging her brainpower to Mirandaโs descent into unhinged grandma antics, thereโs just enough heart, intrigue, and absurdity to remind us why we loved this universe in the first place.
Aiden Who? Carrie Dives into โMe Timeโ in And Just Like That Season 3, Episode 10
Now that Aidan has been firmly banished from the frame (and likely from Manhattanโs zip code), Carrie embraces what life sans a distracting boyfriend looks like in And Just Like That, Season 3, Episode 10. Enter Duncan, the tall, brooding writer who sees her smarts before her stilettos. Their relationship feelsโฆrefreshing. For the first time in forever, Carrie is seen as a cerebral force rather than a fashion-forward muse for man’s redemption. Their back-and-forth is electric, the kind of intellectual flirting that makes even writing deadlines seem sexy. And yet, itโs achingly clear this isnโt a forever thing. Duncan reads chapters of her new novel aloud, lends constructive feedback, and yes, they share a passionate night together. Then, he exits gracefully because, gasp, he knows better than to overstay his welcome.
Watching Carrie explore work-life balance without Aidanโs incessant mansplaining? That might just be the sexiest plotline this season.
Brady. Pregnancy. Grandmas Behaving Badly.
Then thereโs Miranda, wrestling with her son’s unexpected revelation like a mother who just found out her favorite bottle of red was corked. Bradyโs bombshellโthat heโs impregnated a woman he barely knowsโis the perfect pressure cooker for the already-fragile dynamic between Miranda and Steve. Steve, And Just Like That’sย lovable yet perpetually frazzled, instantly erupts into an โI-Wasnโt-Built-For-Thisโ tirade, complete with threats to lay Brady out if he keeps his cool-dude shrugging up. Miranda, on the other hand, achieves peak cringe when she tries to investigate the baby mama via a hilariously ill-informed undercover salon visit. Cue loud farts from Mia (yes, Baby Mama Mia is also fart-happy), ridiculous paternity insinuations, and โNOT-SO-BINARYโ zingers that prove this showโs continued attempts at generational conflict are as clumsy as a drunk in Manolos.
Mia isnโt without fault; she is cartoonishly chaotic. But Mirandaโs invasive meddling makes Steve’s angry outbursts seem quaint. Can you hear that sound? Itโs Samantha somewhere, cackling, saying, โThatโs one dinner party Iโd skip, darling.โ
Anthony, Giuseppe, and the Puppeteer Who Maybe Shouldn’t Exist

Meanwhile, in What-on-Earth-ville, Anthony and his poet-boyfriend, Giuseppe, provide this weekโs dose of WTF in And Just Like That Season 3, Episode 10. After Anthonyโs building has a gas leak, heโs banished to Giuseppeโs apartmentโwhich is apparently shared with a marionette-obsessed asexual roommate (yes, really). And if that werenโt odd enough, this puppet artisan crafts a doll version of Giuseppe and then (cover your coffee cup) is caught getting intimate with said wooden creation. Giuseppe, taking this as his cue for a hasty exit, finally decides to move in with Anthony.
Normally, Anthonyโs campy subplots are lighter counterpoints, but the stakes feel all wrong here. A man was masturbating to a puppet replica of your boyfriend, Anthony. File this under unseasonable โick,โ And Just Like That!
Seema’s (Literal) Potted Love Drama
Elsewhere in And Just Like That, Season 3, Episode 10, Seemaโs picture-perfect boyfriend reveals the true love of his life… his houseplant. Thatโs right, a towering, wall-eating vine he inherited from his mother is the third wheel to their budding romance. When an accidentally dropped cigarette knocks โMom Plantโ out the window, Seema turns a promising relationship into instant repair mode. Thankfully, the plant survives a repotting, and the metaphor for rebirth blooms on the sill. Subtlety? Optional.
Lisa and Charlotteโs Everyday Struggles
Finally, in And Just Like That, Season 3, Episode 10, motherhood takes center stage in Lisaโs plotline, where a runaway hamster is somehow the least chaotic thing happening in the Wexley household. Lisaโs frustration boils over when her child lets Shirley the Hamster roam free, only for her sanctimonious mother-in-law to swoop in and dish unnecessary snark about Lisa’s parenting. Meanwhile, Charlotteโs quest for emotional peace leads to her breaking down during a Zoom session with her sassy energy healer (played by the iconic Susie Essman). These moments of human vulnerability ground the showโs otherwise frothy arcs, reminding us that, behind the designer labels, these characters are just as human as the audience.
A Warm Cup of Closure
By the end of And Just Like That, Season 3, Episode 10, Carrie is on firmer footing both personally and professionally. Alone yet empowered, she pens the final chapters of her novel, one that mirrors her story of scars and growth. Yes, Duncan is gone, and yes, Aiden is still brooding in some rustic barn, but Carrie is writing and living for herself again.
Carrieโs closing declaration feels less like a farewell and more like a soft reintroduction to the woman weโve always rooted for. She had a chapter stolen by loss, but sheโs turning the page. If this show continues to lean into this sentimentality sans melodrama, the next season might have Emmy in its sights.
