The other quality of life aspect EA Sports is trying to solve in Madden 26 is stale gameplay. In the past, teams all felt mostly the same. Yes, playing with Lamar Jackson was different than Joe Flacco, but for the most part, all of the teams felt the same. With QB DNA and the assistance of AI, each player/team will have its own feel. The two I mentioned aren’t the only ones. Ultimate Team is getting a massive upgrade to help bring in new players to the mode and keep existing players engaged. Coach DNA will make each team feel even more unique.
This franchise needed a shot in the arm. College Football 25 showed that fans are craving good football games. Madden 26 needs to be much better than its predecessors, or the franchise will start losing fans to other games.
