What Songs Will Be on Disney World’s New Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets?

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring the Muppets song list

Disney has finally answered one of the biggest questions surrounding the reimagined Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The newly announced Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets officially opens on May 26, and Disney has revealed the attraction’s full soundtrack. Rather than relying on a single song throughout the experience, guests will encounter multiple tracks featuring The Electric Mayhem alongside several well-known musicians.

The result is a playlist that blends classic rock, pop hits, and Muppet-style chaos into what could become one of the most unique ride soundtracks in Walt Disney World.

Every Song Confirmed for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

Disney confirmed that riders will experience one of several songs during their high-speed trip through Los Angeles aboard the attraction’s new L.I.M.O. vehicles.

The confirmed setlist includes:

  • Song 2 – The Electric Mayhem
  • Born to Be Wild – The Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken
  • Love Rollercoaster – The Electric Mayhem featuring Jennifer Hudson and Questlove
  • Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop) – The Electric Mayhem featuring Def Leppard
  • Walking on Sunshine – The Electric Mayhem featuring Kelly Clarkson

According to Disney, each track will deliver a different energy and atmosphere, creating a concert-style experience that changes depending on which song accompanies your ride. That means repeat rides may feel noticeably different from one another.

‘Can You Picture That?’ Will Also Play a Major Role

Fans of The Electric Mayhem’s most iconic song won’t be disappointed. Before boarding, guests touring G-Force Records will find the band rehearsing “Can You Picture That?”, the classic tune that first appeared in The Muppet Movie.

The song serves as part of the attraction’s story, which follows the band as they prepare for what Disney describes as the biggest concert of their careers. The only problem? They are running late and need help getting across town before the show begins. That setup leads directly into the coaster experience as guests board the newly upgraded L.I.M.O. vehicles.

The Ride Story Has Received a Complete Overhaul

While the coaster itself remains the same high-speed attraction fans know and love, nearly everything around it has changed.

The attraction now centers on The Electric Mayhem, featuring Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd Pepper, Janice, Zoot, Lips, and Scooter. Guests enter G-Force Records for a VIP tour before discovering the band is still in the studio instead of heading to their sold-out concert.

One of the most notable additions is Disney’s first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter. Imagineers reportedly used motion-capture technology to recreate the Muppet’s movements and expressions with unprecedented detail.

The attraction also features appearances from celebrity guests, including Awkwafina, Danny Trejo, Darren Criss, John Stamos, Neil Patrick Harris, Travis Barker, Wayne Brady, Yvette Nicole Brown, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.

New Merchandise and Food Will Accompany the Attraction

The changes extend beyond the ride itself. Disney has introduced an entirely new merchandise collection at Rock Around the Shop featuring apparel, accessories, and attraction-themed souvenirs inspired by The Electric Mayhem.

Meanwhile, the nearby FØØD by Swedish Chef location has received a refreshed menu that includes new snacks and beverages designed to complement the attraction’s opening. Guests will also be able to purchase Disney PhotoPass attraction photos featuring special concert-themed effects that place riders alongside The Electric Mayhem.

A New Era Begins for a Disney World Classic

Replacing Aerosmith after more than two decades was always going to be a major change, but Disney appears to be embracing the opportunity fully. Between multiple soundtrack options, celebrity cameos, new animatronics, exclusive merchandise, and themed food offerings, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is more than just a simple retheme. And now that the song lineup has been revealed, fans finally know exactly what they’ll be rocking out to when the attraction officially opens on May 26.
