The Libra weekly horoscope for Oct. 19 to Oct. 25 arrives during the final days of Libra’s birthday season, with the Sun sitting at 29 degrees of the sign before it shifts into Scorpio on Friday. For Libra, this is a week of closing one door and quietly opening a more private one, with money matters and partnership questions both asking for attention at the same time.
The Sun’s late-degree position in Libra falls in the sign’s own 1st house of self and identity, which rules first impressions. That influence fades fast once the Sun crosses into Scorpio and Libra’s 2nd house of money and self-worth, the same house where Mercury and a retrograde Venus are already sitting. Anyone curious about how solar sign changes work can check the breakdown of the zodiac signs for more on how each transit shifts the mood.
The Week At A Glance
- Oct. 23, 2026, 5:38 a.m. ET: Sun enters Scorpio
- Oct. 24, 2026, 3:11 a.m. ET: Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio
- Oct. 25, 2026, 4:56 a.m. ET: Venus enters Libra
The Moon moves through Aquarius, Pisces, Aries and Taurus over these seven days, touching Libra’s 6th house of daily work and health routines for part of the week before sliding into the 7th and 8th houses. That lunar motion, paired with the Sun’s opposition to the Moon noted in this week’s aspects, can make early weekdays feel more reactive than usual for Libra natives trying to keep routines on track.
Love
Saturn and Neptune remain retrograde in Aries, both occupying Libra’s 7th house of partnerships and one-on-one relationships. That combination keeps serious relationship questions in a holding pattern rather than forcing quick decisions. Libra natives weighing a commitment or a breakup may find this week better suited to reflection than action, since both planets governing that house are still moving backward.
The bigger relationship news lands Sunday, Oct. 25, when Venus finally enters Libra after weeks of retrograde motion in Scorpio. Venus rules Libra, so its return to the sign it governs is worth watching even though the retrograde period is not stated to end this week. Those in new relationships may notice more clarity creeping in as Venus approaches home turf.
Career And Money
Money sits at the center of this week’s forecast. Mercury is already in Scorpio and Libra’s 2nd house of money and possessions, and it stations retrograde there early Saturday, Oct. 24. Retrograde Mercury in a money house is typically read as a signal to double check contracts, bills and big purchases before signing off, rather than a reason to panic.
Venus, also retrograde and also sitting in that same 2nd house for most of the week, adds extra weight to financial self-worth questions. The square between Venus and Pluto in this week’s aspect list points to intensity around spending habits or shared resources. Mars and Jupiter continuing their run through Leo and Libra’s 11th house of friends and future hopes suggests that networking or group projects remain a more active, rewarding lane than solo financial risk-taking right now.
Wellbeing
With the Moon passing through Pisces and Libra’s 6th house of daily work and health routines, this week favors small, practical adjustments over big overhauls. Pluto’s steady presence in Aquarius and Libra’s 5th house of romance, creativity and fun stays in the background as a reminder that downtime still matters even during a busy transition week. The sextile between Neptune and Pluto noted in the aspects can support quiet, restorative activities like journaling or a slower pace at work.
Best Day Of The Week
Saturday, Oct. 24, stands out as the week’s pivot point. Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio at 3:11 a.m. ET that day, officially beginning the review period for Libra’s money house, a day after the Sun has already moved into Scorpio.
Treat Saturday as a natural checkpoint to review budgets or pending paperwork before Venus arrives back in Libra the next morning. For a deeper look at how retrogrades and moon phases are tracked, timeanddate.com offers daily charts worth bookmarking.
