Legend of Zelda, we all love it, don’t we? Well, we have news, there’s going to be a movie coming out based on the games. Does it seem like there are a lot of video game adaptations for movies? It feels like there are a ton!

Legend of Zelda Casting Rumors
Let’s first dive straight into addressing the title. According to the trailer, Tom Holland will be playing Link. Seems like the guy is just everywhere these days, right? From the Spider-verse, to Challenger, to even the coming ‘Odyssey’ movie!
It’s insane, but the real question is, is it the right call? Is it right to have Tom Holland play Link? Well, that’s up to you. If you’re upset, that’s fair! If the trailer isn’t up to your expectations, that totally makes sense! However, we shouldn’t blame the actor for that.
Actors don’t have much say in what a movie is actually about. If they make too big of a fuss, they can always be replaced by another actor. Even if Tom has more say as such an influential person in the film industry, now, let’s talk about another person for this film!
Hunter Schafer’s Role in the Legend of Zelda Film
Hunter Schafer seems to be playing Princess Zelda in this film, which is probably exciting for some! For others, they might not know much about her. So, here’s some information, just to make sure everyone knows.
Hunter Schafer has been in a plethora of things, she’s been in Euphoria since 2019. She was in Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes as Tigris Snow, definitely a surprise there. She was also in Blade Runner 2099.
Overall, she seems like a good actress, and it makes sense that she was chosen for this role! One thing that some people won’t like is the fact that she’s a transwoman. That means she was born a man but felt more comfortable as a woman, which is okay!
People shouldn’t judge others for their gender identity, it’s not like it permanently scars the person judging! This would be such a long tangent if we went down it, however, it doesn’t seem right for an article about the Legend of Zelda.
