KT and HLE are fighting for a spot in the LCK Grand Final. KT wants to continue their Cinderella story, while HLE aims to reassert control over the region. Game one goes in favor of HLE, with Delight finding the pivotal engagements. KT initiated a level 1 laneswap by sending deokdam to the top lane to face off against Zeus to relieve Kai’Sa’s laning weakness.
LCK 2025: Rek’Sai Locked in for Zeus
During the Spring Split in 2024, Rek’Sai was a common pick for top laners. Zeus was one of the players to dominate on the champion. He has brought Rek’Sai to the top lane for the LCK. He should dominate against Sion with Rek’Sai’s Furious Bite and can contribute to the dive from HLE’s composition.
HLE Composition
- Zeus – Rek’Sai
- Peanut – Jarvan IV
- Zeka – Aurora
- Viper – Corki
- Delight – Alistar
KT Composition
- PerfecT – Sion
- Cuzz – Xin Zhao
- Bdd – Taliyah
- deokdam – Kai’Sa
- Peter – Rakan
LCK 2025: HLE Responds to KT’s Lane Swap
As a team that utilized the lane swap against T1, HLE is prepared for the strategy. Delight hid in Cuzz’s botside jungle waiting for Peanut to arrive. The two combined to get Cuzz’s flash and steal away the blue buff. The play gave priority to HLE on the map. It allowed them to look for plays across the map. Peanut was the driving force in the series against T1, and he has begun in the same way.
LCK 2025: Delight Back to His Best
One of HLE’s weaknesses during the LCK regular season was Delight struggling to regain his form. In the Playoffs, Delight is back to his best. Every time a fight broke out, Delight found the angle that HLE needed to win. He was consistently catching out Bdd or deokdam. HLE surged to a comfortable game one victory, with the only concern being that Zeka was caught, leading to a KT Atakhan.

Bdd and Cuzz Need More Impact
HLE made an effort to deny Cuzz from impacting the map to open up Bdd. The Mid-Jungle from KT was the pivotal reason behind their shock win over GenG in their previous series. If they can find a way to maneuver around HLE’s early game plans, they can tie up the series in game two.
