Lady Dimitrescu was a main antagonist in the eighth installment of the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil Village. She was also the first main villain we faced in the game, and she made a deep impression on fans of the franchise, so much so that she’d become the face of Village’s promotional campaign during the game’s launch, and she is now a skin that will be available in the new Resident Evil Requiem coming out in a few short months.
Maggie Robertson, the voice actress of Lady Dimitrescu, has recently spoken in an interview, her interest in coming back to the franchise, but is that even possible given the fact that Lady Dimitrescu is dead? Here’s all that was discussed during the interview.
The Occult Following of Lady Dimitrescu
Lady Dimitrescu became a household name after her debut in Village. Lady Dimitrescu and Robertson’s performance captivated fans of Resident Evil Village and earned her a win at 2021’s The Game Awards for Best Performance. There are tons of fan art, merchandise, and even fan-made stories on Lady Dimitrescu, which are all testament to her impact on the franchise and popularity within the fan community.
Actress Maggie Robertson Says She Would Love to Become Lady Dimitrescu Again
Actress Maggie Robertson sat down with The Gamer in an interview and was asked about her role as the iconic character and whether or not she would return to the franchise. Here’s what Robertson has to say.
“Oh God, I can’t speak for them,”
“But for me, how cool is it that a character that wasn’t in the game for that long was able to have such a huge impact. It’s a really positive thing; we really found something with her. You killed her off, but she still managed to build this really loyal following. We did something right.”
“Would I like to return to her? Of course, the answer to that is always going to be yes,”
“Do I have any idea what Capcom’s plans for her are? Absolutely not. I’m just a lowly actor. I’ll find out when you do,”
