Jean Smart officiated the wedding of her Hacks co-star Mark Indelicato over the weekend, marrying him to David Watson as several cast members from the HBO Max comedy reunited to celebrate the couple.
Indelicato, 32, played Damien, the personal assistant to Smart’s character Deborah Vance, on Hacks. Smart led the ceremony, asking Indelicato, “Do you, Mark Anthony Indelicato, take David Joel Watson to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold from this day forward in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, as long as you both shall live?” Indelicato responded with a single word: “Duh.”
Jean Smart’s Role In The Ceremony
Smart closed out the vows with an official pronouncement, telling the newlyweds, “Then by the power invested in me by….American Marriage Ministries, I now pronounce you husband and husband.” The moment capped a ceremony that brought together much of the Hacks ensemble just months after the show wrapped its run.
Hacks Cast Reunion
Hannah Einbinder, Megan Stalter, Poppy Liu, Paul W. Downs, Johnny Sibilly and series co-creator Lucia Aniello all attended the wedding, according to Just Jared. Downs shared a message on his Instagram Story following the ceremony, writing, “Congratulations @markindelicato & David.
Hacks fam 4 eva.” Sibilly also posted a video from the wedding on his Instagram Story, captioning it simply, “my heart.”
