Like the movie, as the song transitions, the costumes change, and other artists are introduced to show the music’s evolution and connections throughout time.
The performance features the sounds of delta blues, country, rock and roll, and hip-hop, and involves several cultural representations. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the artists who joined the “Sinners” cast onstage include,
“Grammy-winner Shaboozey, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Eric Gales, Buddy Guy (who plays an older Sammie Moore in Sinners), Alice Smith, Brittany Howard, Bobby Rush, and retired American Ballet Theatre dancer Misty Copeland.”
Rimmick, played by Jack O’Connell, and his party even made a cameo in the 2026 Oscar performance.
