Know Everything About Husband, Father, Killer, The Alyssa Pladl Story is about a teenage girl, Alyssa Garcia. She met Steven, who was 20, and Alyssa was just 15 at the time when they met online. Early on, their relationship begins to blossom, and Steven travels to go see Alyssa, and they begin having a sexual relationship together.
He convinced Alyssa to run away with him, which she did, and she became pregnant with his child at the age of 16. The verbal and physical abuse started when the baby was first born. Steven would pinch the baby until she was black and blue in the face. Steven also stuffed the baby into a cooler and almost suffocated her. This was just the beginning!

Alyssa decided to give their baby (Denise Pladl) up for adoption. Denise was only eight months old, but Alyssa was worried for her daughter’s safety and that she would not have a happy or healthy life living with Steven. After years of living with her adoptive parents, Katie (her name was changed by her adoptive parents), decides to inquire about her birth parents and finds them. They started out as acquaintances getting to know each other. Before you knew it, Katie moved in with them.
It starts out wonderful at first; she was bonding with her parents and getting to know them. When Katie moved in, Alyssa and Steven decided to separate and were sleeping in separate bedrooms as they were having marital problems. Within the next few months, Steven and Katie became very close. When Alyssa confronted Steven about the relationship he was building with Katie, Steven said it was none of her business and stormed out. Alyssa moved out shortly after that. This is when the true horror, abuse, manipulation, incest, and the murder suicide would begin to unfold.
The movie tragically ends with murder and suicide. That’s all there is to say for now because we want to give you all a spoiler alert!

The movie received several reviews that differ. The ratings the movie received out of 5 stars of global rankings are as follows: 5-star ratings were at 63%, 4-star ratings were at 12%, 3-star ratings were at 13%, 2-star ratings were at 5% and 1-star ratings were at 7%.
My final thoughts, the film was well done. It shared a true story of events that do happen today and how to cope with those abusive and manipulative relationships that happen in life sometimes. It teaches us about different forms of abuse and how to recognize what those different types of abuse are.
It also teaches us about the consequences that can happen when people don’t reach out for help. People are mentally, physically and verbally abused every day. Sometimes, people don’t realize that is happening to them. Just like in this movie, Katie didn’t realize her father had and was abusing her in all forms until it was too late. She was in a sense brain washed by her father. She wanted so badly to have his acceptance that she was willing to do just about anything to get it!
