What You Need
Even though it typically takes 9 months to grow, the harvesting is fairly simple. If you are harvesting your own garlic wait until the stems turn from green to brown in color. They sometimes will even start to fall over. These two things are signs that you are ready to harvest!
Grab near the root and yank her out of the ground. Now that you have your garlic, all you will need is:
- Knife or kitchen shears
- Cutting board
- Parchment paper
- Baking sheet
- Food processor or chopper
- Oven
- Airtight container

How To Make Garlic Powder
Are you ready for the best garlic powder you will ever taste? The steps are simple and easy to follow. We hope you enjoy it!
- Preheat oven to 215
- While oven heats, chop stems and ends off garlic
- Slice bulbs into thin sections
- Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 45minutes to 1 hour
- Once the garlic is light brown in color and feels dry, remove it from the oven
- Let cool
- If you want a fine powder use a food processor to grind the garlic into powder
- If you are okay with a more chunky texture chop with a chopper
- Make sure it is fully cool and store it in an airtight container for 3-4 months
