Voice actor Haruka Fukuhara announced her marriage to soccer star Takefusa Kubo on Saturday in a joint Instagram statement.
Fukuhara, known for her anime voice work, and Kubo thanked fans and supporters in the post. The announcement drew a massive response online, racking up more than 5 million likes and over 18,000 replies combined across both of their Instagram accounts.

Haruka Fukuhara’s Voice Acting Career
Fukuhara built her career as a voice actor across a string of notable anime roles. She currently voices Tsubame Koyasu in Kaguya-sama: Love is War, one of the more popular romantic comedy series of the past several years.
Fukuhara started with a lead role as Main Hiiragi in the 2009 hybrid anime and live-action series Cookin’ Idol Ai! Mai! Main!.
She has also voiced Himari Arisugawa (Cure Custard) in Kirakira Precure a la Mode, Yui Nishida in After the Rain, Hiwa Natsunagi in Hula Fulla Dance, Mirei Kadenokōji in Hello World and Satomi Amano in Sing a Bit of Harmony. She has performed ending theme songs for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and Kaguya-sama: Love is War.
