Gypsy Rose Blanchard is pregnant! She is expecting her first baby with her boyfriend, Ken Urker. Blanchard announced the happy news on Tuesday, July 9, in a video posted to her YouTube channel. Blanchard’s love life has been the subject of much speculation lately after she recently left her highly publicized marriage to Ryan Anderson, to whom she was married for two years, from 2022 to 2024. Gypsy Rose Blanchard Is Pregnant!

Per People, Blanchard shared the pregnancy news in a YouTube video titled “I’m Pregnant, My Journey So Far,” which was posted on her channel earlier this morning. In the video, which can be viewed here, Gypsy Rose states, “So I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now, and I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025. We’re both very excited. This was not planned at all; it was completely unexpected, but we’re both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood.” Congratulations to the soon-to-be parents!
Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Relationships
Prior to dating Urker, Blanchard’s most recent relationship was with former husband Ryan Anderson. Anderson and Blanchard wed while the latter was still imprisoned after he sent a letter to Blanchard while she was behind bars. The duo met in 2020 and were wed just two short years later. After their separation, Blanchard quickly began dating a new boyfriend, Urker, with whom she is now expecting a child.
Urker and Blanchard met through the prison’s pen-pal program, initially dating for a while before they eventually split. However, after Blanchard’s relationship with Anderson ended, she and Urker rekindled their romance. And now, the duo is expecting their first child together! Perhaps the most infamous of all of Blanchard’s past relationships is the one she shared with Nicholas Godejohn. Godejohn, whom Blanchard met on an online dating site in 2012, was the mastermind behind the murder of Gypsy Rose’s mother in 2015. For more on that, continue reading below!
Blanchard’s True Crime Case
Gypsy Rose Blanchard rose to fame over her highly publicized court case centered on the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Blanchard was supposedly coerced into killing her mother by then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn after suffering years of abuse at her mother’s hands due to Munchausen by proxy.
Let it be known that Godejohn is the one who did the actual killing, although Blanchard was also sentenced to prison for her involvement in the planning of the murder. Blanchard was charged with second-degree murder and served 10 years behind bars, while Godejohn was found guilty of first-degree murder. He is currently serving life without parole.
After Blanchard’s case gained an influx of media attention, HBO subsequently released a documentary on her case called Mommy Dead and Dearest. In 2019, Hulu released an anthology series based on the murder, titled The Act. The limited series stars Joey King and Patricia Arquette as Gypsy Rose and Dee Dee Blanchard, respectively. Upon her release from prison, Gypsy Rose and her then-husband Anderson starred in a Lifetime series chronicling Blanchard’s adaptation to life outside of prison called Gypsy-Rose: Life After Lock Up.
