Director Guy Ritchie announces MobLand, his upcoming crime drama for Paramount+. The official trailer shows the story of two families in an ongoing war. Tom Hardy is recruited as ‘The Fixer’ to remove anyone getting in the way of business.
What’s MobLand About?
MobLand features two families, the Harrigans and the Stevensons. They rule businesses in London’s criminal underworld and they threaten each other to destroy their livelihoods. Harry Sa Douza, ‘The Fixer’ takes an offer from Conrad and Maeve Harrigan to exterminate the key players from the Stevensons. The situation grows south, both husband and wife warn Harry that if their trust is ever crossed, deadly consequences will come.
MobLand’s Cast & Production
MTV Entertainment and 101 Studios were entrusted to film MobLand. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show was originally a London spinoff of Ray Donovan. The connection was later dropped during production. Joining Ritchie as executive producers are:

MobLand has a wonderful mix of talented actors who will be starring in Ritchie’s new series. Tom Hardy brings out his killer instincts as Harry Sa Douza. Pierce Brosnan becomes Conrad, the lead crime boss of The Harrigans who craves power. Helen Mirren is “the brain of charming” Maeve, Conrad’s wife and the mob’s second-in-command.
Paramount Press Express offers a cast guide on who else will be joining in on the crime war. Harry has a family member played by Downtown Abbey’s Joanne Froggatt. There’s little information on how they are related but they share the Da Souza name. Other stars include:

Where to Watch MobLand
Paramount’s trailer revealed that MobLand will air on Paramount+ on Mar. 20th. The crime drama will launch in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. More region releases are planned throughout 2025.
